Just a reminder it's an 8pm start tonight.
Take it away, John Candy.
Last time I posted this clip the morning of a Game 7, John Tavares scored in overtime. Let's do that again.
Last night, Mini-JT Fraser Minten scored the OT winner for Saskatoon in Game 5 of their third round series.
Minten was the first and last to hit the back of the net in that game, scoring twice in the win.
Cowan also got a couple points, but Saginaw won Game 5 to force a Game 6.
Back in the NHL, coaching trades?
Vancouver dispatched Nashville in Game 6 with a 1-0 win on the road. Canucks Latvian third stringer Arturs Silovs got the shutout and Pius Suter got the only goal.
Vegas forced a Game 7 with Dallas after a 2-0 shutout win over the Stars. Mark Stone and Noah Hanifin scored, while Lankinen got the shutout. Game 7 is scheduled for Sunday at 7:30pm ET, parallel to Game 1 between Carolina and New York in the second round.
We will have updates on Auston Matthews' status as soon as that happens.
