Five teams are joining the BCHL for next season. The BCHL has been independent from Hockey Canada since last summer. The Brooks Bandits are one of the most popular teams for Canadians to take the step to the NCAA from. The BCHL did this primarily to create a level more tailored for the NCAA.
I'm hearing that 5 #AJHL teams: the Brooks Bandits, Spruce Grove Saints, Okotoks Oilers, Sherwood Park Crusaders, and Blackfalds Bulldogs have all been accepted into the #BCHL for next season.
