The Leafs opened their season on Thursday with a big win over division rival Montreal. It was the first home opener win since 2000. One game isn't enough though. The Leafs opened the 2008-09 season with a win over defending Stanley Cup champs Detroit, only to lose five straight and finish October 4-7. I demand better. The Buds need to come out strong against a weakened Ottawa Senators squad, who will be missing their top offensive player. Expect Phil Kessel, known Sens killer, to see a lot of ice time. Oh, and Orr - Carkner V...duh.
