He's become such a respected voice in that dressing room. Ask almost any #Leafs prospect who's done time in the AHL, and there's a story there about an impact Clune has had on them.
Now the AHL season seems like a real thing that will happen.
Clune, 33, played 31 games over the last two seasons on the Marlies, so he’s very much a locker room guy now. But a funny thing seems to happen when he does get in a game. He scores goals. He had three last year in 16 appearances.
Entering his sixth season in the Leafs organization, he is a fixture in pre-season games (particularly against Buffalo) and a voice for those living with addictions.
Welcome back, Dicky!!
