Leafs won! Leafs lost! It was the Schrodinger's Cat of hockey games. Who won? If you observed the game, you know, if not, click on the link below to find out, though in the process you will obliterate one quantum reality from the multiverse. Or at least that’s how I think quantum physics works based on science fiction stories written by people who were also not quite sure either.

Blue vs White recap: The Leafs looked great! But the Leafs looked awful!
While the Leafs were tuning up, so were we, and can I say it was a bit exciting. We had a game preview, game day thread, and a recap, plus GIFs from Omar, all the while with a lot of buzz in chats and comments and social media here and there about the game. It was great! PPP is back in mid-season form. I mean, this is the kind of content I want to see!

Now we have to wait until Wednesday for the next game, but first, let’s look again at that shot by Nick Robertson one more time.
One more random item to highlight is this series of photos of Mitch Marner captured by the Toronto Star photographer Steve Russell. Mitch has clearly not been to one of those secret underground market barber shops during the lockdown.
We also heard Hall & Oates again as the team goal song, which brought out some complaints on Twitter. Maple Leafs management issued a statement in response which I think confirms the song is here to stay.

Given the above game and the imminent start to the season, you can expect many players to hit waivers, and soon, possibly today to try and sneak through anyone they can. We await right now to see what will happen to Michael Hutchinson who went on waivers yesterday.
