Toronto Maple Leafs @ Winnipeg Jets
07:00 PM at Canada Life Centre
Watch on: SN
The Leafs last game was at home on January 24 against the Winnipeg Jets, which Toronto won by a score of 1-0 in OT. The Leafs have a record of 24-14-8 for a 0.609 Points %. The Jets have a record of 30-11-5 for a 0.707 Points %.
Them
Oh, it's them again.
The Jets are suffering a centre deficit at the moment and Mark Scheifele is not playing tonight, per Rick Bowness. Josh Morrissey and Gabe Vilardi are gametime decisions. Both Scheifele and Morrissey participated in yesterday's practice, but something seemed to have happened to cause a delay in Sheifele's return. Lines are estimates based on Murat Ates' reports and subject to change.
I see Ehlers is in the dog house. Let me guess... shooting slump? He hasn't had a lot of points lately, so I guess so. His usage looks like when Sheldon Keefe kept finding reasons not to play William Nylander.

Us
Tyler Bertuzzi is back, Bobby McMann is on IR after being in and out of the lineup, and Ryan Reaves is still not making the cut.
However, Calle Järnkrok took a shot off his hand in practice, and might not play. Mark Giordano draws in for Conor Timmins.
Joe Woll can play the piano just fine, and is also very obviously nearly read to return, but that and all the other roster issues are going to wait until after the bye week is over. First, the Leafs have to actually play a game before they jet off to warmer destinations like Toronto.

The Game
I'm sure the Jets are real mad at losing to bums like the Leafs. Expect them to act accordingly. The Leafs could do us all a favour and just win again, but likely the most important thing to learn from this game is if Sammy is back for real.
