Storylines
Uncle Leo is out and Connor Brown, the 9th Marlie to make his Leafs debut, is in. He'll be playing on the top line beside Soshnikov, and wear #16.
After a rookie season in which he had 61 points, his sophomore season has been a little overshadowed by injuries and the other talent on the Toronto Marlies. In 28 games this season he has 9G 15A for 24 points, nearly a point per game, on pace with his first year. He is well known for playing on a line with Edmonton's Connor during his time in the OHL.
The other story is that Jagr is old. He is so old that he once played with Michael Nylander on the New York Rangers. The Panthers in general are the anti-Leafs, and other old guy Shawn Thornton has also played on a line with Michael Nylander. So does dad hop onto the ice and beat people up if they misbehave?
Go Leafs go!
