Last night in the post-game media availability, Sheldon Keefe said Tyler Bertuzzi was "fighting through something". Bertuzzi also missed practice for maintenance on the last day before the trip to Florida, and Keefe described him as a game-time decision for that game. He said some of his lineup changes late in the game were an attempt to lighten Bertuzzi's load.
The Leafs have just enough LTIR room to have one extra player on the roster, so Simon Benoit, who has been recalled for all games so far, will be returned in lieu of a forward.
With Holmberg on the roster, the expected change in the lineup if Bertuzzi sits out will have to involve two of Matt Knies, Max Domi and Calle Järnkrok taking the top-six winger positions and Holmberg coming in on the bottom six.
More detail on lines will come before tomorrow's game.
Update:
It's not clear that Bertuzzi will actually sit out next game at this point, but it sure looks like Minten will if he stays in.
