Connor Carrick is still trying to carve out an NHL career for himself. He's only 22, so he's got plenty of time - but every little bit counts. Every day you work, every advantage you can take.
So when Carrick found Pavel Datsyuk's skills development camp, it was a no brainer: he had to get in, even if it was only for kids.
And hey, what would you know - Pavel Datsyuk is willing to take him on.
Hey Connor, @Kuzya92 and I have a spot for you in the PD Skills camp: the youngest group is waiting!@connorcarrick pic.twitter.com/W4EVe8zJqe

Carrick is listed as 5'10, so he'll fit right in, right? Because he's all ready to go.
Packing now. What airport? #BackToSchool https://t.co/6YObCv2cdq

I'm so ready for this and hope it actually happens for real - granted that Carrick is livetweeting it, of course.
