Okay, I admit, seven might be pushing it. Brian Burke likely won't be around long enough to make that happen. And the Leafs don't exactly have tradeable assets to make up for lost picks. But a man can dream, can't he?
How about this: For the rest of his tenure as general manager of our beloved Toronto Maple Leafs, Burke won't trade another first-rounder. Or, at the very bloody least, he won't trade two of them, especially not back-to-back, to a division rival.
