MacArthur: We're Not Raising the Flag on this Season

With Kris Versteeg shipped off to Philly for two draft picks on Monday night, outward signs—which Brian Burke denied—began to pointing to a rebuild this season in Toronto. "I definitely don't want to hear that and that creep in," said MacArthur. "We're definitely not raising the flag here and surrendering. We want to keep playing hard and chip away at the ten points were out. There's nothing worse than doing the rebuild and you're just kind of writing the season off--we're definitely not doing that."

Kessel and Grabovski Lead Maple Leafs Past Bruins

After getting dazed early by some hard hits, Mikhail Grabovski had plenty of strength left to stun the Boston Bruins at the end. Grabovski scored the tiebreaking goal with 1:01 remaining and the Toronto Maple Leafs rallied for a 4-3 win that extended the Bruins' losing streak to three games.

Grabovski and former Bruin Phil Kessel both finished with two goals for Toronto, which scored twice in the final 6:33 against the struggling Bruins."Grabo was getting hit by everybody on their team and he ended up scoring a great goal — his retribution was to score," Toronto coach Ron Wilson said.
