Luckily for me, I had already left for shinny and didn't get to see it. But looking over the box score, I find Brett Lebda was a -1. This is bordering on amazing, isn't it? The guy plays a little over eight minutes in one of the most boring games all season, yet still manages to be on the ice for a goal against. There are only two players in the bottom ten of the NHL in +/- who play less than 15 minutes per night. One is David Clarkson of New Jersey. I'm sure you can guess who the other one is (Clarkson is a -17 in 44 games; Lebda a -19 in 22 games). In fact, Lebda could potentially set the record for worst +/- since the lockout in only half a season's worth of games. That's pretty mind-blowing.

Anyways, the Leafs didn't look very sharp last night although Jean-Sebastien Giguere was solid in his return from injury. Toronto badly needs to rekindle the work ethic that propelled them to wins in LA and San Jose; I didn't see it tonight from anyone. Their three-day break until Wednesday's bout with the Rangers will hopefully do this squad some good.
