The link above takes you to the list of all players in the NHL who might be updating their list today. Some no-trade clauses have a list of teams the player will accept a trade to, and some have a list of teams they won’t accept.
On the Leafs, the players under contract now with no-trade clauses are:
Frederick Andersen
In the final year of his deal with an AAV of $5 million and a remaining salary to be paid of only $1 million after the signing bonus was issued on July 1, Andersen can submit a list 10 teams he cannot be traded to.
Morgan Rielly
With two more years on a contract with an AAV of $5 million, and a signing bonus in 2021 due of $2 million, lowering the final year’s cash salary, Rielly can submit a list of 10 teams he cannot be traded to.
Zach Hyman
In the final year of a deal with an AAV of $2.25 million and a cash salary this year of $2.5 million, Hyman can submit a list of 10 teams he cannot be traded to.
Justin Holl
In the first year of an extension that carries an AAV of $2 million, and after receiving $1 million of that already in signing bonus money, Holl also can submit a list of 10 teams he cannot be traded to.
Meanwhile, as Kyle Dubas is out shopping for trades, he may now have players newly available to him, or newly closed off from his interest, depending on choices they might make on a new list. There are 91 other players with no-trade clauses, some of them frequent flyers in fantasy trade scenarios.
