The camp will be held next weekend in Novogorsk, however CHL players will join the team when it arrives in Canada later in the month. There are two pre-tournament games for Russia, December 20th against Denmark in Kingston, ON and December 22nd against Sweden in Kingston, ON as well.
This will be Korostelev’s first chance to represent Russia at an IIHF tournament. Earlier this year he played for Team Russia against Team OHL in the Russia/Canada Super Series.
This season so far Korostelev has 15 goals, 14 assists in 24 games for the OHL’s Sarnia Sting.
