The good news is that both bids would keep the Coyotes in Phoenix. The bad news is that they can only guarantee the short-term. The NHL is willing to sell to an owner that would relocate the team and Ice Edge wants at least five games a year in Canada. This entire situation gets nuttier by the day. Mirtle mentioned yesterday that there are almost 900 court filings at this point with no real resolution in sight.
