Man about town Steve Dangle went to the Mastercard Centre For Hockey Excellence For Hockey Players That Don't Play Hockey Too Good to the launch of EA Sports NHL 15. Among other things, he saw the motion capture process with Morgan Rielly and Max Pacioretty before doing a behind the scenes tour of the Leafs' practice dressing room which features a few hilarious pictures and the break out star of last year's build up to the Winter Classic.
Steve's review of the game starts out focusing on the game play which is as you would expect quite good. However, he also highlights a lot of the problems that have been covered extensively: inability to sim between shifts in Be A Pro Mode, a lack of game play scenarios, and some online shortcomings.
Is it worth buying? I'll let you watch Steve's rationale but I think that it's pretty clear that it's not worth the money.
Steve is giving away a free copy for XBox though. Tweet him your best chirp at @Steve_Dangle with the hash tag #DangleNHL15 by Wednesday September 10, 2014 at 11pm EST and if you're the best then you win the game.
