As reported by James Mirtle, Nazem Kadri and the Maple Leafs have agreed on a one year contract worth $4.1 million.
Kadri's contract is one year for $4.1-million.

This will give Kadri a salary for 2015-16 that is a hair under Tyler Bozak's $4.2 million AAV deal.
Last season, Kadri scored 18 goals and 21 assists in 73 games. Kadri missed games from a combination of minor injuries, and a four-game suspension for a headshot on the Oilers' Matt Fraser.
At the expiration of this one year deal Kadri will still be a Restricted Free Agent (RFA) for two more seasons.
Important note: Nazem Kadri is RFA in 2016-17 and 17-18 due to his late date of birth for signing purposes. #leafs

This contract will be pivotal in determining Kadri's future with the Maple Leafs. He will have to prove himself, once again, to a brand new coach and front office. He has the potential to be a star for the Leafs, but with a short deal that ends again as an RFA, he could be tantalizing trade bait for several teams at the 2016 trade deadline.
Kadri's future as a Leaf is as precarious now as it has been since his first NHL game in 2010.
