Poor Nazem Kadri just can't escape the diving talk. What's that, Naz? You got a hat trick the other day? Had a four-point game a week ago? Well, that's nice and all, but remember when everyone was accusing you of diving? It just got worse.
#Leafs' Nazem Kadri fined $5,000 for diving. NHL announces he received two separate fines, one for $2,000 and another for $3,000.

A couple of other players - Nail Yakupov and Martin Hanzal, to be specific - have also been fined for diving today, but none have really quite drawn the attention Kadri has as of late.
This is the first time Kadri has been fined for embellishment in his career. And if it happens again, it won't be pleasant - neither for him, nor for his coach.
If Nazem Kadri gets caught diving by the NHL again this season, his next fine is $4,000 and #leafs coach Mike Babcock will be fined $2,000.

We should note, however, that Kadri's playing style has served him well throughout his career. Things might have to change now, though. He's officially on the record.
