That means plenty of cuts, including from Toronto, and a busy waiver wire. Should the Leafs claim that one guy who you remember was a big deal when he was drafted and haven’t thought about since? The Wings have made the sensible decision to keep most of their best prospects (Filip Zadina, Joe Veleno, Michael Rasmussen, and Moritz Seider) away from the radioactive waste pit that will be their NHL team this year. The Wings are bad, y’all.

Oilers Nation: Flames at Oilers Game Recap by Baggedmilk. This game happened on Saturday but the Oilers lost 3-2 and the goals were from Rieder and Lucic. Just outstanding.

The preseason game between the Sharks and Golden Knights got wildly out of hand last night with multiple misconducts and ejections.
