It's the final week of the NHL regular season. Also if you forgot like I did, because it's so late, Friday is a holiday for Easter, and possibly the next Monday depending on your location or profession (mental note to go buy some wine and chocolate for the weekend).

The Leafs are playing the Sabres in Buffalo on Tuesday and then playing the Red Wings here in Toronto to close out the regular season. Both games will be on TSN.

And then that's it and we have the playoffs. The unconfirmed word is the playoffs will start on Saturday, though where or when the Leafs games will be is still not officially announced, so perhaps there's some odd mathematical tie-breaker where the Leafs could still face Florida instead, but it seems likely we will get the first Battle of Ontario in the playoffs to happen in around two decades.

The Marlies lost to the Monsters yesterday with the game going all the way to a shootout. This means they still haven't clinched a playoff slot. The Belleville Senators sit four points behind the Marlies with both teams having three games left to play.

But we did get to see this hilarious goal during the game.
