There is a lot of misinformation and disinformation about this election. This page gives you the correct information:
This includes the pencil thing, the counting of ballots, the thing about poll workers writing on ballots and all the other ways in which bad actors want you to think elections are rigged.
All federal elections are hand counted from paper ballots, so unlike the recent Ontario election where the winner was announced about 10 minutes after the polls closed, this process takes a lot longer.
If you live in Carleton, which is Pierre Poilievre's riding, Elections Canada has a special message about the design of the ballot to help voters navigate the process:

The Hurricanes beat the Devils to go up 3-1 in their series, joining Toronto as the teams with three wins.
The Blues thumped the Jets to tie their series at tw0-games-all.
The Capitals thumped the Canadiens to join the winning 3-1 club.
The Kings and the Oilers were the late game, and that series is now tied 2-2 on an Oilers win.
There's only two games today: the Lightning and the Panthers are first and the Stars and the Avs are the later start.
