Mitch Marner has been pretty much destroying everyone he's come across as of late, and that's why he's been named the Canadian Hockey League's player of the week.

That and the seven goals he scored in three games. (Look at all these goals!) And the four assists to go with them. In one week. Because he's kind of, you know, amazing.
Marner currently has 22 goals and 58 points through 25 games: a 2.32 point per game pace. He's tied with linemate Christian Dvorak for lead scorer in the entire OHL, and only Conor Garland in the QMJHL has more points than him out of everyone playing in the CHL this season. (And it's the QMJHL, so does it really count?)
So congrats to Marner for his incredible week, and for further establishing himself as one of the very, very best in all of junior hockey, if not the best entirely. The Toronto Maple Leafs' future is so bright.
