The 2023 Memorial Cup kicks off tonight with the home team Kamloops Blazers taking on the Quebec Remparts.
The Toronto Maple Leafs top prospect, Fraser Minten, is a centre for Kamloops and is coming off a season where he had 67 points (31 goals) in 57 games.
You can read more about Minten and the tournament in Brian's preview earlier this week.
The Blazers will be wearing this gorgeous blue jersey for the opening game to commemorate veterans from indigenous communities. The Blazers have a strong relationship with the First Nations on the land and have had events during the week leading up to the first game.
Stunning threads.
