The Leafs' are without their secret weapon tonight as Jeremy Williams begins his stint on the IR. Here are the other Leafs' injuries:
AHHHHHHH!!!! NOT ANTROPOV! Also, Stajan is still out and not listed for some reason. When will our Luke and Saviour return? Once the Leafs move closer to the bottom of the standings. Tavares won't be scoring those fancy dips doodlin' moves in any colours besides Blue and White.
Speaking of the World Juniors, what a game! Time to see what that other goalie can do in a big game though. Canada could have used a saveski from Tokarski in the early going. His performance looked eerily similar to Pascal Leclaire crapping the bed against the Russians during Canada's long run of not gold medals.
Back to the Leafs though and Curtis Joseph's second straight start:
Those numbers are still ridiculously bad. How is it possible that for a fourth straight season poor goaltending will derail the buds? I hope Burkie Clause was checking his list for goaltending options because Old Yeller and Vesa need to get a firm handshake and to be sent on their way.
The Sabres are currently struggling as they wander in that middle ground where an extended losing streak could knock them down towards the Leafs or even the senators or a winning streak could cement their playoff spot.
