The goalies that shut out the Philadelphia Flyers last night will get a chance to continue their shutout streak against the other half of Pennsylvannia's hockey duo. Jason Allison is back in the lineup and Matt Stajan is making his first appearance of the exhibition season as the roster is mostly turned over. Crosby won't be in the line up but the Penguins are still icing Evgeni Malkin.
Viktor Stalberg seems to have recovered from last night's heavy hit and Carl Gunnarson gets another run out on the back end. This is definitely the weakest squad that the Leafs have iced so far and I expect their play to reflect that fact. And by reflect it I mean that they'll be fighting like wolverines to earn a spot with the Leafs or the Marlies.
Over/Under on Fights: 2.5
If you have half an hour to wait for their site to load you can read The Pensblog's complaints about Leafs fans taking over their rink back when the bandwagon was empty. Or at least I assume that's what they wrote since that's all they ever complain about the Leafs and I didn't have 30 minutes to spare.
Below are the full line-ups for both teams as the Leafs prepare for their third game in three nights.
