Today the Maple Leafs have to waive any player they need to, to make the roster work out tomorrow to a cap-compliant list of 23 healthy players.
Among the boatload of players on NHL waivers today are #leafs Marshall Rifai and Matt Murray, who is still working his way back from bilateral hip surgery that cost him last season.

If that's the complete Leafs list, then both Conor Timmins and Phil Myers are still on the Leafs. Which makes things a bit overcrowded in more ways than one.
The obvious move is a trade of someone, and the obvious candidate is Timothy Liljegren.
