The Maple Leafs announced one expected change to the Traverse City roster today, and one not so happy one:
Goaltender Joseph Woll will not participate in the Traverse City Prospect Tournament due to a broken finger.

Defenceman Kalle Loponen has been added to the @MapleLeafs Prospect Tournament roster.
2019 draft pick, Kalle Loponen was loaned to the Sudbury Wolves on Tuesday, so he is now available in North America to join the roster for the prospect tournament as well. Traverse City gets underway tomorrow, and as soon as we have some clarity on how you can watch the games, we’ll update you.

With Joseph Woll out of this event, the next question is: Will he be able to take part in training camp? The expectation was he would have played in some preseason action. If he’s out for any extended period of time, then Ian Scott is going to take the job on the Marlies by default. The plan seemed to be to have one of Scott and Woll in the AHL and one in the ECHL. So much for planning in advance.
For Traverse City, the Leafs have two goalies, Scott and Maksim Zhukov (signed to an AHL contract). It seems like they might want to find an extra, given the dense game schedule.
