You get a contract! And you get a contract! Providing your names are Auston Matthews and Josh Leivo, of course. I don't think the rest of us are getting any contracts any time soon.

That said, the Toronto Maple Leafs are getting stuff done today. After at long last inking Matthews, Toronto has turned towards one of its restricted free agents, re-signing winger Leivo to a two-year, one-way deal.

Leivo, 23, is just coming off of his entry-level contract. He played 51 games for the Toronto Marlies last season, scoring 17 goals and 48 points as he finished fourth in team scoring. He also had his most productive NHL stint by far, with five goals over 12 contests in the big league.

He is now also waiver-eligible.

With Leivo inked, the Leafs still have to sign RFAs Peter Holland, Frank Corrado, Martin Marincin, and Connor Carrick. The clock is ticking on the first three, as they have arbitration dates set: July 25 for Holland, 26 for Corrado, and Aug. 2 for Marincin.
