According to PlaneteHockey.com, Fabirce Herzog was suspended two games in the Swiss NLA after the Zurich Lions December 13th game against HC Biel. He was given a charging penalty at the halfway mark of the game and after it was deemed to target the head he was suspend two games and fined 700 swiss francs ($983.66 CDN).

A quiet week, even from those who were playing. We did see Nielsen get two assists in the WHL's first day back in action. Also a rare Pierre Engvall goal! The players at the juniors are busy, with Timashov leading on opening day. Lots more to be played. The NCAA and CHL teams are back into it this week, and we're nearing the CHL trade deadlines so more players could be on the move. Rumours still go on about Timashov being moved out of Quebec.
