Playoffs have begun! This past week we saw the Allsvenskan playoffs start. Mora IK (Engvall) sits first in the round robin standings right now. If they win this they'll move on for a chance to to be promoted to the SHL next season.
Maine (Vesey) started the Hockey East playoffs versus Northeastern and played two close games, but lost both in overtime to be knocked out of the first round, losing the best of three series 2-0, ending his season. It's been a disappointing one for Vesey and the Maine program in general. Coming off a 23 point freshman season, he managed just 11 points this year.Late March is the season of NCAA players signing contracts but Vesey will most likely stay in Maine for his 4 years.
Zurich (Herzog) entered the NLA playoffs the clear favourite but as of this morning are down 2-0 to 8th place SC Bern in their best of seven series.
More playoffs to come this week, the SHL (Johnson) starts theirs along with the NCHC (Cameranesi, Toninato). One more week then all our prospects will be in their playoffs as the CHL kicks off in two weeks.

Dakota Joshua is getting more points as the season winds down, hopefully he picks up as the playoffs move on. Our own Achariya will be at the NCAA Frozen Four so let's hope Ohio State and UMD make it there so she has lots of Leafs prospects to watch.
