Kyle Dubas had told the media at the start of training camp, that he was considering a roster of 28 or 29, but they’ve loaded up with four goalies, all the extra defenders you could want, including Timothy Liljegren. Liljegren was “unable to play” for most of training camp, but apparently that injury was not serious.

Cut from the team are Egor Korshkov, Adam Brooks, and Kenny Agostino, who came up from the USA and underwent 14-days of isolation prior to camp.
With Andreas Johnsson on the roster, but expected to not be game ready immediately (as far as we know), that leaves Nic Petan, Denis Malgin and one other forward as the odd man out. Today at practice, that was Frederik Gauthier.

The expectation is that Liljegren, Marincin, Rosen and Sandin are all extras on defence.
