Well if you want .500, this is what I'll give ya
A little bit of "D" mixed with some "SKATE QUICKA!"

OK, so I'm the first to admit that I'm no good at this, but you get where I'm going with it. Brian Burke yesterday gave Ron Wilson his unequivocal support and confidence, along with a guarantee that Wilson would again next year be behind the Leafs bench. Naturally, James Mirtle of the Globe and Mail had the story:

"I said back in the fall, we would not consider a change, even when all the hounds were baying," Burke said. "I feel the same way now. Ron is coaching this team next year."

So there you have it. Not exactly shocking news at this point, but an important question put to rest, nevertheless.

Plenty of Leafs links, and news from around the league after the jump.

Leafs goalie embraces 'Optimus Reim' nickname
"I saw the design everywhere and heard all the fans talking about it," Reimer said. "It's a fun thing to do with the fans. If that's what they know you by, I'll just put a little thing on my mask, and going forward, it might be a whole mask thing." Again, from Mirtle.
