OK, so I'm the first to admit that I'm no good at this, but you get where I'm going with it. Brian Burke yesterday gave Ron Wilson his unequivocal support and confidence, along with a guarantee that Wilson would again next year be behind the Leafs bench. Naturally, James Mirtle of the Globe and Mail had the story:
"I said back in the fall, we would not consider a change, even when all the hounds were baying," Burke said. "I feel the same way now. Ron is coaching this team next year."
So there you have it. Not exactly shocking news at this point, but an important question put to rest, nevertheless.
