I don't know about you, but I'm getting real tired of this recent rash of articles saying "this stats blogger/MSM 'war' has to end, both sides are at fault here". Oddly enough, all of these articles are being written by members of the MSM who have been vehemently against them or videotaped by MSM wannabes who want to play both sides of the coin. And why? Because if you're vehemently against stats in hockey and the bloggers who have struggled for years to bring them to the forefront of the hockey discussion, you can see the writing on the wall. You're a dinosaur who sees the meteor coming.

"Repent of your sins and turn to Stats, for the Kingdom of Analytics is near." - The King James Mirtle Bible

Repentance is more than simply begging for forgiveness an leniency though. Repentance is about a true change, both of mind and of heart. You have to truly believe to have repented. Speaking in false platitudes like Darren Dreger quite simply isn't going to cut the mustard. Sorry Dregs, just because you gave a half-hearted "stats apology" doesn't mean we're going to stop calling you out as the biased mouthpiece of your dumb cousin Dave.

So enough of this talk of clemency. We've got the MSM talking heads on their heels. As Coach Riley once told us, "It's not worth winning if you can't win big."
