Over the last 10 games, the Leafs have been one of the hottest teams in the league. Unfortunately so have the three teams the Leafs have been chasing in the East. Over the last 10 games, the Leafs are 7-3-0 good for 14 points, and have moved up all of ZERO spots in the Eastern Conference. Carolina? They've gone 7-2-1 for 15 points. So too has Buffalo. And the Rangers? They've gone 6-2-2 for 14 points of their own. The hockey god exists and he takes pleasure is toying with the Toronto Maple Leafs. The absurdity of the whole situation is just mind boggling.
"It’s been going on for three weeks so at this point I don’t really have much left to break at my place," smirked MacArthur. "I look at our record the last month and we can’t gain a point with that record? That’s unbelievable. If that’s middle of the season you make ten points up on a team maybe. It’s frustrating."
"I just feel bad that if we don’t make the playoffs that we’ve worked this hard and our guys don’t get rewarded for it," added Ron Wilson.
