The Maple Leafs preseason continues today with a game against the Buffalo Sabres at a slightly early start time of 6:30 p.m over in the town famous for an elephant, St. Thomas Ontario.
Hockeyville this year is actually West Lorne, which is quite a ways west of St. Thomas along the 401, but they won the contest to get the upgrades to the local arena , however even upgraded that arena isn't capable of hosting an actual NHL game with attendance of any significance, so the days event will happen in St. Thomas instead.
We'll have our preview of the game and information on the lineup out as usual around noon, though we know one player definitely in the game:

The Scotiabank arena is already a "cashless" venue, and now they are bringing in the Amazon stores that don't have any checkouts either, it simply uses motion tracking and facial recognition to bill your debit or credit card automatically for any snacks you buy in the new shop. You just walk in, and walk out with whatever you want.
