In the news today, training camps are about to open up at all levels and there are some quotes coming through, particularly form players in the CHL, about what they hope to acheive this season. We’re still waiting for news about a contract for William Nylander and our Top 25 Under 25 will continue and finish with the number 1 on Friday.
It’s the last week of August. Soon we will be talking about Maple Leafs players at official practices.

The NHL subsequently denied the above statement was “accurate” which in NHL-speak means it may only 90% true and not 100% true. It became clear later on that something is up with respect to Voynov, but they are not going to publicly reveal where in the process he sits at the moemnt.

So who knows what’s really going on here. It could be neither the league or the NHLPA really know either and are feeling it out as they go along. Either way, it’s not a hard “Voynov is banned from the NHL forever.”
