We can confirm Mitch Marner was the unfortunate victim of a carjacking in Etobicoke on Monday evening. He was unharmed in the incident and the Club & Mitch are thankful for Toronto Police Services’ support. Anyone with information is asked to reach out to Toronto Police Services.

Update: first official police statement beyond the tweet above was made Tuesday afternoon.
The victims of last night’s car jacking were a man and woman in their 20s, Harris said. I believe details of a female victim is new. Uniformed and plainclothes officers continue to patrol citywide and make arrests in auto theft cases, he said.
