The last time the Leafs played the Sabres, the game was a laugher by every measure. Saturday's game seemed to be headed in the same direction but for the play of Michal Neuvirth who held off the Leafs' initial onslaught until the buds' careless defensively play and a poor performance from James Reimer could conspire to hand the game to the Sabres. The end result saw Leafs fans again throwing merchandise on the ice and Zemgus Girgensons deigning to comment on the appropriateness.
