Thursday August 25th is a big day in London, Ontario. The Ontario Hockey League and CHL Memorial Cup champion Lonon Knights will be having their awards ceremony, but before that is a celebratory parade and autograph session. From LondonKnights.com:
In partnership with Tourism London, the London Police Service, and the City of London there will be a parade held to celebrate the London Knights receiving their Memorial Cup Championship rings. The celebration and parade will take place on Thursday, August 25th, at 2:00pm.
The parade route will be as follows:
The parade will start at City Hall,
Vehicles will travel from Dufferin to Wellington,
Wellington to Queens,
Queens to Talbot,
Talbot to Jubilee Square leading back into Budweiser Gardens.
Following the parade, there will be an hour long autograph session at Budweiser Gardens from 3:00pm-4:00pm for fans with a two item limit.
After the autograph session, the annual London Knights Award Ceremony will take place on the floor of the arena from 4:00pm-5:30pm and will be open to the public through Gate 1.
