If you're a PPP reader you're probably well aware that the Leafs signed Tyler Bozak to a two year deal at $1.5M per season by now but I'm contractually obligated to put this post up. Bozak's sophomore campaign didn't go as planned but neither did Luke Schenn's.
This season Bozak will be looked to as a depth player instead of the #1 pivot, and a third line center who scores 15 goals for $1.5M seems like a good addition to the team. Perhaps Toronto gets lucky and Bozak progresses this season into a strong two way center to give the Leafs some depth at the position.
He's a young kid who was asked to do too much: let's see what he does in the right role this season.
