The Leafs open their eight-game preseason schedule with two games tonight. In Ottawa, half of the remaining preseason roster will play out of the Canadian Tire Centre at 7:30 p.m.
For those in the Sens broadcast region, the game can be caught on TSN 5. For those in the Leafs broadcast region, the game will be simulcast on Leafs TV.
In Ottawa, several newly acquired Leafs will be making their debuts with the organization.
Kasperi Kapanen, acquired in the Phil Kessel trade, will skate on the team's 'second line' with journeyman Marc Arcobello -- who spent last season with the Coyotes, Oilers, Predators, and Penguins -- and Curtis Glencross, who enters camp on a pro tryout (PTO) after registering 35 points in 71 games with the Calgary Flames and Washington Capitals last season.
Scott Harrington, also making his Leafs debut, will be paired with veteran defender Stephane Robidas, while free agent signee Matt Hunwick will skate with Dion Phaneuf. A pair of 2015 NHL Draft picks will make their pro debuts, as 34th overall selection Travis Dermott will skate with 65th overall selection Andrew Nielsen.
The diminutive Dmytro Timashov will line up with another PTO, Brad Boyes, and Peter Holland.
For the Sens, first round pick Thomas Chabot makes his debut alongside captain Erik Karlsson.
