Today is Canada Day and that means free agency begins at noon. Make sure your twitter feed is up & running for the inevitable Brandon Prust - Leafs signing.
Today is also a special day in another sense: it's the 32nd annual Toronto Pride Parade. As most of you know, Brian Burke has taken part in this event for the last few years in honor of his son, Brendan, who died in 2010. This year, the Leafs GM will be joined by his son and founder of the You Can Play Project, Patrick Burke (@burkieYCP). It's an important cause and Pension Plan Puppets stands behind the rights of LGBT athletes 100%. The future for the You Can Play Project looks incredibly bright and we hope to support it in any way we can.
