What a night last night, probably the best one the Leafs have had since I started this series. The Anaheim Ducks and St. Louis Blues all won their games to bump down Nashvilles pick, and the Carolina Hurricanes won their game for them to rise above the Leafs in the standings and below them in the lottery standings.

Here are the lottery games for tonight:

Washington Capitals at Buffalo Sabres
Best Result: Washington over Buffalo in regulation
Buffalo just needs to lose them all, so Edmonton can't gain any ground on them. We don't need Katz wasting another 1st overall pick.

Toronto Maple Leafs at Edmonton Oilers
Best Result: Edmonton over Toronto in regulation
See above. An Edmonton win and a Buffalo loss makes that gap grow.

Arizona Coyotes at Los Angeles Kings
Best Result: Los Angeles in regulation
Leafs are 10 points behind Arizona, so they can't catch them for 3rd. Best thing is for Arizona to take 2nd in the lottery to deny Edmonton McDavid and Eichel so they can take Crouse 3rd.
