Is anyone else really tired of Brian Burke? I'm never going to dislike him the way I do certain other of our ex-GMs; he got us Gardiner and JVR, and he's unquestionably done some things well in his career. But he's, to use the vernacular, full of shit at least half the time, and his act has gotten real old by this point.
Anyway, Calgary has some good players now, and they're a decent playoff threat in a pretty weak Pacific. We've got 'em on forward depth, they've got us beat in defensive strength, and Mike Smith is doing his thing where he acts like a real goalie. Nonetheless, we can take these guys.
