According to TSN's Mark Masters the Leafs have made another major round of cuts before the start of the 2015-16 season.
Leafs release Curtis Glencross and Devin Setoguchi from PTOs

Perhaps last night in the locker room there was foreshadowing of what was to come for Devin Setoguchi:
Mood of Boyes (joking w reporters) & Setoguchi (eyes down) couldn't have been more different; one game means a lot when you're on PTO
— Mark Masters (@markhmasters) September 27, 2015
This leaves Brad Boyes as the only veteran left on a PTO. Boyes, who we wrote about when he signed his PTO three weeks ago, is from Mississauga, and played last season for the Florida Panthers, scoring 14 goals and 24 assists.
Leafs return Mitch Marner to London Knights (OHL) & assign Rob Madore to Toronto Marlies (AHL)
— Mark Masters (@markhmasters) September 27, 2015
Mitch Marner's return to junior is not a surprise. The jump from the OHL to the NHL is huge and Marner looked at times confused and out of his league, even against the other pre-season squads. That being said he also showed flashes of elite skill, and why he was a high first round pick. No doubt this experience, and his introduction to the coaching staff, will go a long way to help him prepare for his real NHL debut.
Rob Madore is a 27 year old goaltender who has never played in the NHL. Last season he played 46 games for the Cincinnati Cyclones in the ECHL, with a SV% of 0.905. He may make his way to the Solar Bears this season.
