Puck Drop: 7:30PM SNET-O
I'm not going to lie, it's really hard to write a gameday preview right now. I found the funny picture of Ryan Miller but after that I'm not sure where to go with this.
Buffalo's a team that thumps us all the time but you all already know that. The Leafs are playing terrible hockey and no one is putting the puck in the net with any regularity. According to his Mirtlieness the Leafs are 1-7 in their past eight on the road and have been outscored by a margin of 35-15.
Miller's already beaten the Leafs four times this season, facing 151 shots and stopping 145 of them good for a 0.960 SV% against Toronto this year. This all adds up to total misery for us. On the other hand maybe there'll be a miracle. Stranger things have happened.
Across The Aisle
Sabres Noise has their preview where they ponder guaranteed versus the need to play Lalime and not wear down Miller.
Die By The Blade points out that Patrick Lalime is one win shy of a career milestone: 200 wins. Hmmm, seems to make sense to start him against the Leafs now.
