After tonight the Leafs play 8 of their final 12 games on the road going to Carolina and New Jersey (teams near us in the playoff hunt), Ottawa, Florida and Colorado (teams we'd like to finish ahead of) as well as locales such as Detroit, Boston and Minnesota. Our four remaining home games after tonight? Boston, Buffalo, Washington, and Montreal.
Pick three of those games to lose in regulation and one in OT/SO if you want the Leafs in the playoffs. The positive news? If the Leafs pull this off I almost feel bad for whoever gets them in the first round. The Leafs, unlike us, need to go one game at a time and win their last home game before facing Boston this Saturday.
