All players on NHL waivers yesterday cleared. The whole whack of them, @emilymkaplan

As expected, Kasimir Kaskisuo has cleared waivers and will be assigned to the AHL practice group in due time. Ian Scott and Maksim Zhukov are already with that group, so their battle for two starters jobs and two (or more) backup jobs begins.
We expect more significant cuts later today, so we’ll update you when we have them.
Update:
#Leafs recall goalie Kasimir Kaskisuo from the minors. Kaskisuo cleared waivers and was then sent down on Sunday.

It's worth noting that the 10 game/30 day clock for players who have cleared waivers does not officially start until the regular season begins. https://t.co/P3Vu9n081I
We’ll have more on the situation with the Leafs at practice today as we know more. But so far Joseph Woll, who sat as backup yesterday, has been in one practice only — yesterday morning, we think. Michal Neuvirth is unavailable to play with an undisclosed injury, and that leaves only Frederik Andersen and Michael Hutchinson, yesterday’s starter.
