According to the AHL transactions page, Kasimir Kaskisuo is coming north to Toronto to escape the crowds of Torontonians in Orlando right now. Wise move.
Kaskisuo will leave behind the Orlando Solar Bears with Ryan Massa back in action as they hold down fourth place in their division, one point out of third.
The Marlies, who are missing Garret Sparks due to injury and have been using J.P. Anderson as backup to Antoine Bibeau, are in a tight race for a playoff spot too. They are third in their division, one point out of second, but the fifth place IceCaps are only three points behind them.
The Marlies play two games back-to-back at home: Friday night and Saturday afternoon against the Binghamton Senators. The Saturday game is at the ACC.
Kaskisuo looks like he’s ready to swap out the uniform and return to the blue and white of the Marlies at a moment’s notice:

Kaskisuo, in his first year of a two-year NHL deal had a rough start to his ECHL season. He’s bounced back somewhat. He has a save percentage of .899, which sounds bad, and it isn’t great, but ECHL goalies tend to lower numbers. ECHL defencemen tend to not be so helpful sometimes.
An opportunity to get in at least some practice time, if not an actual game on the Marlies will show how far he has come since training camp.
UPDATE: J.P. Anderson has now been released from his PTO making Kaskisuo the only healthy goalie after Bibeau on the roster.
