The big news today comes via Marlies player Mike Zigomanis who revealed that Nazem Kadri has been called up and will be joining the Leafs tomorrow in Carolina. Kadri has 41pts in 44 games in the AHL. He's finding his scoring touch and starting to get feisty down there; if he can produce on special teams and agitate a little bit it's likely he's with the Leafs until their season ends.
Matt Lashoff has cleared waivers. He has 28 points in 69 games played and will likely be used on the power play. Per James Mirtle he likely takes Brett Lebda's spot.
Meanwhile the Marlies' Clayton Hansler says that prospect Joe Colborne is back skating today after taking a brutal cheapshot by some goon and missing two games with a suspected concussion.
Kadri up, Lashoff in for Lebda, and Colborne skating again? Gardiner inked? Sounds good to me.
